Based in Sydney, Australia, I’m a freelance journalist/photographer/editor and, just recently, a self-published children’s book author working from home so I can take care of my little one, MiniMe. I’ve been working in the industry, both nationally and internationally, for over 12 years. I finished my masters degree in communication under the ASEAN scholarship in Singapore. I’ve also had various photography exhibits in Australia and the Philippines, have won various photography competitions and have my photos published in several magazines. At the moment, however, my main model is my little one – as you’d expect.
I am mum to one, wife to one, and mummy to two dogs. I grew up in the Philippines and lived in Singapore for a while before heading to Perth, then Melbourne then now finally based in Sydney. I love cocktails, wagon wheels, and making my own ice cream. I am constantly knitting and can’t sit still without making something. I am a major TV addict and probably would go crazy without my TV shows.
The blog is a compilation of various things. There will be stuff about my kid, my work, my old work, my old life, my culture, and some other things too — like previous columns I’ve written for various papers and magazines, photos I’ve taken over the years, some reviews, some recipes and some things about arts and crafts.
There will be some touchy entries in protected mode but hey, you can always ask for the key 🙂
